LocalConvert

Convert anything. Offline. On your device.

LocalConvert is a file converter for Windows that runs entirely on your own machine. Images, documents, audio and video — converted locally, with no account, no uploads and no telemetry.

One-time payment. No subscription, no account, no expiry.

What it does

Images

JPEG, PNG, WebP, BMP, TIFF, GIF, and HEIC/AVIF where the device supports it. Crop, rotate, flip and resize — including whole batches.

Documents

PDF pages to images, PDF to text, DOCX and RTF to PDF, and page-level PDF tools: merge, split and recompress.

Audio & video

MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG, Opus, MP4, MOV, WebM, and GIF. Trim, change resolution, or hit a target file size.

Text recognition

Turn a photo or a scanned PDF into selectable, searchable text — including a searchable PDF of a whole document in Pro.

Why it's different

Nothing is uploaded

The conversion engines are bundled with the app. Your files are read from disk, converted, and written back — they never leave the machine.

No account, no telemetry

There is no sign-up, no analytics and no tracking. The app requests no network permission at all.

Privacy by default

Camera metadata such as GPS coordinates is stripped from images unless you explicitly ask to keep it.

Works offline, forever

After installation it keeps working with the network switched off. Pro is unlocked by a licence file, verified on your own machine.
